Code Breaking

Another page with the Simple Stories So Rad collection from ATDML - I really love the colours.  This page started off with a coating of clear gesso (still dislike that grainy texture but hey!) some homemade texture paste and then a tando cog mask.  I then used my Marion Smith colour lab blue - it is just a mix of the blue - no other colours in it and it is one of my favourites.  Once that had dried I also added in some distress stain over the top of cogs - silver and brown and a little blue too, and then I spritzed water onto of that to get the mixed colours over the top.  I drew a couple of circles with a plate around where my photo was going, layered up the photos, papers and some of the number stickers, using foam dots for some of them.

The photo is from a visit to Bletchely Park - which is beautiful and had some really nice interactive displays that the kids could play on!

Awesome

Hello everyone....it has been a while, I've been off on my holidays and celebrating birthdays and all sorts.  I wanted to pop back and to share a page I made using Simple Stories So Rad collection for A Trip Down Memory Lane - you can find the other pages I made in the gallery, but I will share them on my blog later on in the month too.  I also wanted to tell you that this weekend A Trip Down Memory Lane are holding a Cybercrop so there are free classes to download all weekend - I am doing  2, my first one is today at 3pm, there are also lots of challenges too so come and join the chatter on Facebook and check out the blog - here is the link.

For my page I just added a little more paint - in the form of distress stain to the background and some splatters too, then layered up the papers, I did a little fussy cutting of one of the journal cards to created the pile of headphones and trainers, and also added in some stickers too.  The journalling is behind the photo on the "His Story" tab and the Awesome sticker, which I love, was just one of the phrases on the sticker sheet that goes with the range.

I hope you are all doing well, do check out the Virtual Crop this weekend.
