Signs of Autumn

A really mixed media page using Amber Moon by Prima - I picked some up at the ATDML retreat and loved the copper foiling, so I put together any coppery bits I had and some new nuevo drops too. I started with a bit of stamping, and then thick layers of brown, cream, white and gold paints.  I layered up strips of the lovely papers and a doily behind my photo.  I hand cut some of the butterflies and used some of the stickers from the collection too, as well as adding a little bit of sparkle with some gems and the nuevo drops.

It was really fun to make, and quite messy too!

Valentines Cards

I know I'm a bit late - but love goes throughout the year! I made these for BoBunny using their love collection Only You, and I shaped the pop-up box cards so that they worked with the large heart doily die.  This card was created with lots of fussy cutting of flowers and then layering of die cuts.

I packed the card with pieces.

I like that you can see through the dies and it adds another layer.

The same basis for my second card but with lots of hearts punched out and layered on acetate.

Snow with BoBunny

Here is a page I made for BoBunny using Winters Playground and there is a video to go with it too.  I love this wintry collection with the blues and turquoises in it, it was perfect for the snow pictures I go this year too.  I won't say too much about it as you'll be able to see from the video, but I had a lovely play with paints, glitter paste, glitter confetti and some of the laser cut chipboards.

I love the tonal flowers - and especially the little crochet ones!

I used some of the layered chipboard from a last years winters papers (Winter Wishes - another favourite!)  and it went perfectly.

Complete with a snowman whose hat has been knocked off with a snowball!
