Last weekend we were at the A Trip Down Memory Lane Autumn Retreat - I love it and it's a real treat! I taught 2 classes one with Kaisercraft and this one with Pink Paislee's beautiful Cedar Lane line. In this range Pink Paislee provide a huge embellishment kit full of glitter and acetate, tags and words so I made the most of all the embellishments on each of my pages. There is a subtle autumn feel to the papers with lots of leaves and woodgrain and beautiful colours.
I'm trying to use more photos on a page so for my first page I used a series of 3 photos of my kids, when we are just trying to get 1 nice photo!!
My next page was very geometric and again I used more than one photo - this is from my sons birthday - after his party he laid out all the cards around him and then carefully worked his way around the circle (most of them had money in as he was hoping to be able to buy a kindle...which he did manage to get :))
My final page used up lots of the bits and pieces we had left over - including the paper strips that are on the bottom of the papers and I used it to document my son going off to PGL.
I'll be back soon with some of the classes that I went to and the challenge layouts I made - I ended up with over 10 pages done in a weekend, which isn't bad, and I got all my bits for my December Daily album too!
Theses are all gorgeous Katherine - I Love the bits of gold in the papers. Wasn't it a great retreat , it gets better and better each year and I always come back feeling SO creative:)
