Sledging

This layout is done using cosmo cricket jolly by golly papers which I chalked around the edge of, I sanded my photo a bit too to destress it a little more. The stamps are some flourished by Rhonna Farrel and I glittered and blinged them a little. The flowers are made using the flower tutorial link I found on the web - see my post about making flowers. I made them from whitewash coordinations and sanded the edges down and then glittered them a little. The title is using the fancy pants cuttlebug alphabet and cut out of funky foam, and the corners are from a costco kit. I added some secret journally behind the photo about how I got the chance to take my kids to the hill I used to sledge on as a child which was great.

Snow boys

Here is my Latest LO - I will try and take a better shot in the daylight but the lace and chalking came out clearest without the flash. This was done using Cosmo Cricket Golly by Jolly papers, I decoupaged some of the hats and gloves, cut out a snow man, put some glitter paper through the cuttlebug and fancy pants alphabet, did lots of chalking and then sewed around the edge of most of the bits of paper with my sewing machine (1st time I have done this) and this is the result.

Bounce - scrap weekly 2010

This LO is inspired by the scrap weekly 2010 blog, it was to use your bad photos and so here are some of our less good photos! The papers are My Little Shoebox Who's there collection - I had to do a fair amount of cutting carefully with a craft knife to get the swirls and birds out, then mixed up the papers, cut out some treees and mounted them on foam, added some buttons ribbon and bling, and cut out the title using fancy pants in the cuttlebug and some sizzix arrows. I added some stickles - in particular around the rik rak ribbon to hide the double sided tape that was showing a little bit!

Here is a link to some instructions on how to make some beautiful little flowers. I will have a go at making them too and post some results, but they look really pretty!

Let it Snow

Here are some pages from the ukscrappers wicked cyber crop - the first one is from Ifa's over the rainbow class that I adapted to be in the snow. Used some gemstone coordination for the background, and cut the title out of funky foam with the fancy pants cuttlebug alphabet, then cut out the circle using various plates and distress inked it and added all the ribbons. The snowflake is made out of pound shop gems!

Mummy and Me

This is my latest page. It is made using DCWV papers - mainly from the green stack and some green stack chipboard, some lace I bought a while ago, and I swiss dot cuttlebugged some chocolate coordinations and then sanded it down. The inspiration was from a sketch by sarahs cards.
