Home Sweet Home Mini Album

Last months kit from A Trip Down Memory Lane included lots of Graphic 45 and one of my favourite Graphic 45 papers of late - the hexagon patchwork - I love the bright colours and patterns on it.  I decided to make a mini book for my Aunt and Uncles 50th Wedding Anniversary as a gift.  The book is based on Gloria Stengels instructions but I changed it very slightly so that both ends of the book are the same size, so it is a cuboid book, rather than a book that gets narrower at one end if that makes sense.  I use cereal boxes for the covers and spine and then yardstick for the pages.  There are a few other Graphic 45 papers in there, and they blend well as Graphic 45 use the same colour base for their paper ranges so there is no problems matching them if they are in the same colour group.
Here is the first page with a small pocket on the left and larger one on the right, as well as one of the little pull out pockets that Graphic 45 do.
This page has an open out flap, and then the other a strip so you can slide a photo underneath, or memorabilia.
 This is the opened flap.
The next page has a low pocket and journal spot, and on the authorised is another lift the flat section.
This can be used for photos and journalling.
Then the pattern for my pages starts to repeat, just with different papers, a low and high pocket.
I tucked the apple pie recipe in too.
Another open out flap and a corner to slide photos and memorabilia into.
A low pocket and then a high pocket, with a pocket behind the journal card too.
The final page has a lovely quote and I left the back cover blank so that a photo could be added.
This is the view from the top so you can see both spines are the same length, and the book is secured with a little clip.  There is lots of room for more decoration and photos.
