Happy Campers

I played around a bit with this LO, I had seen a nice technique on ukscrappers for using stickers as masks and then glimmer misting them....so it got me around to thinking about paint. I cut out the letters in the title in masking tape on my bug...was a bit fiddly as the letters are quite thin. Then stuck them on and dabbed paint over them, and that is what you get - think the technique needs a little more refining though :) I used a mixture of DCWV papers from their summer collection as there is one that mentions camping! I cut out the tents and trees, swiss dot embossed some co-ordinations chocolate box and sanded it, damped and crumpled some paper behing, then added ribbon and a leaf. I made the flower using the tutorial I just posted. I did crackle paint the tent and then ink over it with distress inks but that dosen't show too much, the giggle tag is a tim holtz one. But here is a shot of my DS with the famil we usually camp with each summer, he is sat with his friend in my moon chair which is big enough for 2 of them, and extrememly comfortable hence why you have to be quick to get in it :)
